Horse Drawn Funerals
Horse-drawn carriages can be added to our gold and silver funerals for £1200.00 for a pair of horses or £1800.00 for a team of horses (choose between black or white horses at no extra cost).

Funeral Printing
We are able to assist in the design and printing of a family’s order of service, and any additional print requirements, that a family may have.
Special Requests
Families may want to think about other ways of making the funeral reflect the life of the person who has passed away. We will do our best to arrange anything we can for families. Some of the things we offer: horse-drawn carriage, motor cycle funerals, woodland/environmentally friendly funerals, releasing doves at the crematorium or at the graveside, or a route that might stop at their local pub/club. We can provide all this and so much more.

Repatriation
We can arrange to have a loved one transported and laid to rest in the land that they referred to as home.
Bereavement Services
At Daniel Mercer Family Funeral Directors, we understand that after the funeral is the beginning of your future journey. We want to continue to support you as you embark upon this journey and are therefore very proud to announce that we are partners with SAIF Care.
SAIF Care is a service offered by funeral homes that are members of The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF).
SAIF Care provides a range of services to bereaved people, over the age of 18, including:
- A Freephone Bereavement Care line
- Email Support
- An Online Chat Box
SAIF Care services are offered by friendly staff who are trained in counselling and bereavement skills and who will be able to listen and support you.
SAIF Care Associate Counsellors are highly skilled and qualified. They will be able to help you to understand your experience of grief, develop self-care, coping strategies and support you to deal with the challenges you may be facing.
SAIF Care services are available Monday– Friday, from 9am–9pm,
SAIF Care is confidential and free of charge to people who have used the services of Daniel Mercer Family Funeral Directors.
Funeral Finance
Here at Daniel Mercer family funerals, we are pleased to be able to offer finance to help pay for a loved one’s funeral.
